Vibrational therapy

Sound healing involves the use of specific instruments (quartz bowls), tones and other forms of vibration to balance and align the energy in the body. These frequencies create a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes deep relaxation, balances the nervous system, and helps release emotions. Sometimes, it induces a meditative brainwave frequency (theta) that assists in accessing deep levels of wisdom and healing.

Sound healing is a big part of the complementary medicine and has been used for thousands of years. As we already know, music has been used to produce positive effects on humans throughout history, to "lift the spirits" as a form of expression and to shift from one state of being to another. When sound is used with the purpose of healing, it brings a wonderful therapeutic effect.

The session: Each session is conducted in a private space, a yoga studio or a community setting. Sound therapy treatment is achieved by projecting specific frequencies onto or around specific parts of the body. A private session begins like any other energy work session, with the person lying on a table and a brief introduction to what the patient needs or is seeking. Eventually the sound of the bowls creates a space to receive the healing vibrations of sound.

The session: The person lies on a comfortable position and connects with their breath, gradually deepening to relax the body and open it to receive its healing. Relaxing music can be part of this experience, depending on each person's preferences.
